Bicycle reported stolen

Oswego police took a report of bicycle theft that occurred between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive. Police said the bicycle is valued at $150.

Traffic citations

Oswego police ticketed Uriel A. Ortiz-Valencia, 24, of the 4300 block of Klatt Street, Plano, with driving without a valid license, disobeying a stop sign and having an expired registration after stopping his vehicle at 7:46 a.m. Sept. 7 on Harvey Road at Treasure Drive.

Domestic battery

A juvenile male was referred to authorities for a charge of domestic battery after officers responded to a report at 2:26 p.m. Sept. 9 at Oswego High School.

Violation of an order of protection

Oswego police are investigating a reported violation of an order of protection that occurred at 9:32 p.m. Sept. 7 in the zero to 100 block of South Adams Street.

Threatening message

Oswego police took a report of threatening messages over the telephone that demanded money from the victim at 12:07 p.m. Sept. 9 in the area of Orchard Road and Route 34.

Identity theft

Oswego police are investigating a report of identity theft that occurred at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 200 block of Wilson Place.

DUI

Oswego police arrested Steven Bryant, 29, of the 400 block of Lakeview Drive, Aurora, on charges of driving under the influence and driving without a valid license after responding to a property damage accident at 9:32 p.m. Sept. 10 in the area of Douglas Road and Barnaby Drive. Damages in the amount of $1,500 in damages were reported. No injuries were reported. Bryant was taken into custody and released after posting bond.

Speeding

Oswego police cited Jesus G. Holguin-Avila, 25, of the 7800 block of Briarcliff Drive, Plainfield, for driving without a valid license and speeding after conducting a traffic stop at 11:25 p.m. Sept. 11 in the area of Faro Court and Washington Street. Holguin-Avila was released at the scene with a date to appear in Kendall County Court.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police arrested Devonya L. Jackson, 48, of Oswego, on a charge of criminal damage to property after responding to a call at 7:23 p.m. Sept. 12 in the area of Majestic Lane and Risen Star Lane. Less than $500 in damages was reported. Jackson was released on her own recognizance with a date to appear in Kendall County Court.

Battery

Oswego police arrested Symone T. Anderson, 22, of the 2900 block of West Warren Boulevard, Chicago, on charges of battery and criminal damage to property after responding to a disturbance call at 2:46 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 300 block of Prairieview Drive. Less than $500 in damages was reported. One person was injured but refused treatment. Anderson was released on a personal recognizance bond with a date to appear in Kendall County Court.

Battery investigation

Oswego police are investigating a reported incident of battery between an Uber driver and their passenger that occurred at 6 a.m. Sept. 12 in the area of Routes 34 and 30.

Domestic battery

Oswego police arrested Leroy Curtis Jr., 64, of the 100 block of Ashcroft Lane, on a charge of domestic battery after responding to a report of domestic battery at 4 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 200 block of Ashcroft Court. Curtis was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail to await a bond call.
