Plano church holding free food pantry

First Lutheran Church in Plano will be holding a free food pantry.

The church, located at 200 N. Center St., will be hosting the event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15.

All in need are welcome pick up a box of canned goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen meat, bread, milk, eggs and other items.

Those who have food pantry cards are encouraged to bring them. If you don’t have a card, bring identification and one will be issued in a couple minutes.
