Batavia advances to third consecutive sectional championship after taking down Wheaton North in semifinals

In a game where their role players followed the game plan, Batavia came away with a 55-25 victory over Wheaton North in a Class 4A sectional semifinal game at St. Charles East to advance to their third straight sectional championship.

Ahmyrie McGowan, Dixon speed past Kaneland into sectional final

Dixon built a 31-9 lead and held on a 40-30 victory over the Knights in a Class 3A Boylan Sectional semifinal on Tuesday behind 15 points from Ahmyrie McGowan.

Glenbard West upsets St. Charles East in overtime

Points were at a premium during Tuesday’s Class 4A girls basketball sectional semifinal between Glenbard West and host St. Charles East as the Hilltoppers won 35-32 in overtime.
