Traffic is expected to be backed up in Batavia Tuesday, June 16, and Wednesday, June 17, as road crews work on asphalt restoration on a popular thoroughfare.
The city of Batavia asked the public to “expect delays in the area” and to “seek alternate routes if possible.”
Road crews are working on asphalt restoration improvements on First Street between South Batavia Avenue and South Van Nortwick Avenue.
The multi-day project should be wrapped up sometime Wednesday, weather permitting.
