Back-to-school fair set for Aug. 9 in Aurora

Area Princeton chidren received free backpacks and school supplies at New Hope Church of the Nazarene on Monday, Aug. 5, 2024. Fly High Basketball Academy gave away 75 backpacks with supplies inside. Food and drinks were provided for all of those who could attend. The event was sponsored by Country Financial, Becks, Ollies distribution BA Designs and New Hope Church.

East Aurora School District 131 will hold a back-to-school fair for school district families to receive school supplies.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at East Aurora High School, 500 Tomcat Lane.

Attendees will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. The fair also includes a petting zoo, photo booth, food trucks and haircuts.

VNA Heath Care will offer physical examinations.
