La Salle-Peru 3, Ashwaubenon (Wis.) 0: Taylor Vescogni threw a three-hit with 13 strikeouts and one walk as the Cavaliers ended their trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. with a victory Thursday.

Kelsey Frederick went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Karmen Piano doubled and scored a run and Maggie Boudreau was 1 for 1 with an RBI for L-P (7-5), which went 4-0 on the trip.

BASEBALL

Cambridge 12, St. Bede 11 (8 inn.): Maks Baker hit a home run and a double, drove in three runs and scored two runs as the Bruins lost in extra innings in their final game in Millington, Tenn.

Ranbir Saini was 3 for 5 with two runs and an RBI for St. Bede (4-5), while Drew Carboni and AJ Hermes each had a hit, an RBI and a run.

Chase Riva was the losing pitcher.
