La Salle- Peru High School to host public meeting on special education services

Session will address plans and updates for the 2026-27 school year

The main entrance of La Salle-Peru Township High school today. Under the master plan, the clock tower and auditorium will remain the same. Under the master plans, students and staff will not have to travel outdoors during the school day (for certain classes) to create a safer learning environment.

La Salle-Peru Township High School will hold a meeting at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at LPHS.

According to a press release, the purpose of the meeting is to discuss District 120’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools and home schools within the district for the 2026-27 school year.

If you are the parent or guardian of a student in those categories who has been or may be identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of La Salle-Peru Township High School District 120, you are urged to attend, according to the release.
