Geneseo 3,130, Ottawa 2,866: In nonconference play Monday, the Ottawa High School boys bowling team fell to its former conference rival despite a team-best 585 (200 high game) from Lucas Day and a 529 (201) courtesy of Landry Brenbarger.

Ottawa opened the season over the weekend, placing fifth in the Mendota Invitational, led by Bentley Thumm’s 567 (204) and a high game from Brenbarger (201).
