State police investigate fatal accident on West Illinois 17 in Kankakee County

A fatal crash involving a passenger car and motorcycle that occurred Sunday morning in western Kankakee County is under investigation by Illinois State Police Troop 5.

About 9:49 a.m., state police said they were dispatched to Illinois Route 17 at South 3120W Road, west of Kankakee.

Illinois 17 at the crash site is closed as state police continue the investigation.

State police are not releasing any further details at this time.
