Player of the Year

Faith Feuerbach, Sycamore, sr., G/F

First team

Lexi Carlsen, Sycamore, so., G – Despite an injured left hand for the last month of the season, Carlsen averaged 9.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 3.2 assists a game. She also served as captain of the team as a sophomore.

Amina Gray, DeKalb, jr., G – Averaging more than 31 minutes a game, Gray averaged 15.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.6 steals a game. She was a unanimous selection to the All-DuPage Valley Conference team.

Ella Shipley, Sycamore, sr., G – Shipley average 9.9 points, 4.8 assists and four steals a game. She was an All-Interstate 8 Conference selection. She’s among the school’s all-time leaders in points, rebounds, assists and steals.

Ashleigh Wackerlin, Hinckley-Big Rock, sr., G – Not only did she average 21.4 points game, but she set a school record for points scored in a season. She shot 49% from the floor and averaged 7.6 rebounds and 3.9 steals a game and led the Little Ten in scoring.

Evyn Carrier, Sycamore, jr., C – The 6-foot-4 center and recent Central Michigan recruit averaged 13.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks a game. Two of her biggest games came in sectional play, helping the Spartans reach a supersectional for the first time.
