Ladd — The public is invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for Ladd Senior Village at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7.

The 40-unit housing facility will be located at 357 W. Cleveland St.

Special guests will be Kristin Faust, executive director of Illinois Housing Development Authority, and Frank Cattani, mayor-elect for the village of Ladd.

A question and answer opportunity will be held at 2:30 p.m. after the groundbreaking ceremony in the Ladd Community Center. All questions and concerns will be addressed at this time.
