SYCAMORE - Taxco Mexican Cuisine, 223 W. State St. in Sycamore, has closed temporarily due to a case of COVID-19 linked to the restaurant, according to a post on social media.

The post states the decision was made as a precautionary measure.

"Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our community, and team we will be temporarily closing due to a case of COVID-19." the post states. "During this time we will sanitize the restaurant and review protocols to continue to offer a healthy, safe, and enjoyable working and dining environment. We look forward to reopening to our guests soon."

The post encourages patrons to check in on Taxco's website and social media for updates.
