Floyd Jones, of the Electricians Local 176, was elected to succeed Steve Conrad and fill the remainder of his term as president of the Illinois Valley Building Trades Council.

The group held a special election on July 10 to succeed Conrad, of Cement Masons Local 11. Conrad had served as president since 2008.

Kevin Dale, of Laborers Local 393, was elected secretary to fill the remainder of Jones’ term.

Any Moreno, of Operators Local 150, and Jason Bernicky, of Iron Workers Local 444, were also elected to fill two trustees seats left vacant because of retirements. Regular elections for all offices are scheduled for July 2021.

The new officers will be sworn in Friday, Aug. 28.
