Capt. Rapier Wit demonstrates his fire-eating skills Saturday at the Marseilles Renaissance Faire. About 30 people gathered for his act at the fifth annual event at Guthrie Park. As the captain solicited donations he jokingly told the crowd that if he did not collect enough money to return to his native Iowa he would stay in Marseilles, reproduce and teach his offspring his Pirate Fire act.
