Ottawa

Jacob Reimann, 25, Ottawa, was cited Tuesday in the 400 block of Arch Street on a trespass complaint. He was given a court date.

Streator

Damone B. Chandler, 23, Streator, was arrested 10:20 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of North Park Street on complaints of obstructing identification and driving without a valid license. He posted bond at the county jail.

A report was received Tuesday that at about 2 a.m. Sept. 27 at Walmart, items were stolen from a storage container.

According to a Tuesday report, a bumper and fog lights on a vehicle were damaged between 6 p.m. Sept. 28 and 6 p.m. Sept. 30.

A report was received Tuesday night a motorcycle was stolen between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. that night. Police found and returned the motorcycle. The owner did not want to press charges.

La Salle County

Jeffery A. Phillips, 48, Oglesby, was arrested at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday at his home on a warrant for probation violation. He was taken to the county jail.

Fire Calls

Ottawa firefighters responded at 11:42 p.m. Tuesday to 900 Paul St. for a fire alarm, which was caused by cooking odors.

Streator firefighters responded at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday to 609 N. Everett St. for a fire alarm set off by cooking odors.

The Streator Police received 1,100 calls for service in September, issued 43 citations, 169 verbal warnings and made 25 arrests.
