Women’s Retreat set for Pilgrim Park

PRINCETON — “Women’s Journeys: The Streams, Splinters and Spirits of Our Lives” is the theme for an Aug. 5 retreat. Women find they are pulled in many directions on a daily basis. Though our lives begin in a unique wholeness as young girls, life experiences split and splinter us. What can restore us?

This retreat will provide time for personal reflection, journaling, group time and time with God. Snacks, beverages and lunch are included. While the retreat is sponsored by Open Prairie United Church of Christ, we welcome women from all faith traditions. Pastor Mary Gay McKinney and Prayer Chaplain Sue Carlson are the retreat facilitators. Sign up and tell your friends.

The retreat will be held at Pilgrim Park, east of Princeton, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5. The cost is $30. Please register by July 16, so the chefs can have a final count.

For more information and a registration form, email office@openprairie.org or call 815-872-5150.
