ST. CHARLES – The new Primrose School of St. Charles West will open in early 2018.
Owners Nilam and Mrugesh Patel and Pinal and Shashi Keri hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on June 27 alongside St. Charles Mayor Ray Rogina, St. Charles Police Chief James Keegan and other city officials.
“After seeing the impact Primrose has made on my own children, we knew our family wanted to bring the high-quality child care experience to our local community,” Shashi Keri said in a news release. “Primrose Schools offers a strong curriculum that is research-based and time-tested, and as a family of scientists and doctors, we definitely respect those characteristics.”
Primrose School of St. Charles West, which will cost approximately $5 million to build, will be about 12,000 square feet and will serve about 180 local children. The new school will bring more than 25 jobs to the community when operating at full capacity, according to the release. Current plans have the school opening in early 2018. It will be the fifth Primrose school in Illinois.
“Our family has always valued education, so when we learned that we could bring high-quality early education to the families of St. Charles, we seized the opportunity,” said Mrugesh Patel in the release. “As parents ourselves of young children, we want only the best and know this school will provide the right balance of nurturing care and guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion for the children in our community.”
Primrose School of St. Charles West will be located at 1940 Bricher Road. For more information on the school, visit www.PrimroseSchools.com.
