Why are you running for Morris District 101 school board?

I believe that changing the face of ideas is a good thing and I want to be that face. I have many modern ideas that I would like to see come reality. Me being only 36 and a life long redskin, all my motives are to better Morris Community High School.

What are your qualifications to serve as a school board member?

Having been raised in Morris and graduated from Morris High School and now having children attend MCHS, I have a vested interest in seeing the students and faculty be successful. Serving on the board for the Morris Warriors Youth Football program as the Athletic Director. Also, me being a youth football coach for the Warriors for 9 years. I've helped mold children for the future of our community and want to ensure this continues by preparing our young adults for life after high school.

What are the greatest challenges the district is facing in the coming years?

The greatest challenges in the coming years will be keeping up with the technology in schools and up to date facilities. With the current state budget crisis, trying to keep our District tax rate around the same.

If elected, what will be your top three priorities?

1. To exceed all academic standards and making sure the faculty has any and all resources to do so. 2. Making sure all of our facilities are able to support our events for success. 3. Making sure the vision and goals that are set by the board will affect the school and children in a positive way.
