Huntley defeated Prairie Ridge, 59-7, in a dual meet in Crystal Lake to set up a Fox Valley Conference title match between the Red Raiders and Crystal Lake Central next Thursday. Both teams are undefeated in conference duals.
Two Raiders had pins, Zach Spencer (132) and Jason Pawlak (152). Other Huntley wins came from David Ferrante (160), Juan Quiroz (170), Justin Allen (182) Nik Wise (195) and Justin Padayhag (220). Huntley also won five matches by forfeit.
Prairie Ridge’s lone victories came from Trey Piotrowski (138) and Kyle Koelblinger (145).
Marengo Triangular: At Marengo, the Indians defeated Richmond-Burton, 41-25, and North Boone, 72-9. Four Indians wrestlers had two pins on the night: Cameron Miller (135), Joe Mier (170), Michael Vega-Perez (170) and James Mier (200). Others with two victories included O'Neil Swanson (126) and Landen Pfeiffer (106).
Grayslake Central 45, Woodstock 30: At Grayslake Central, Woodstock despite pins from five wrestlers. Cody Ratliff, Jerred Grell, Paxson Dechant, Aidan Jacobs and Nathan Van Hoorn all had pins for the Blue Streaks.
