Through the years, she loved spending time with (and spoiling) the many children in her family, providing them with some great fun-filled memories. Her hobbies included painting ceramics, jigsaw puzzles and baking. All will miss her huge platters of cookies and lemon cheesecake.

Janice enjoyed living at the High Rise, where she made many friends. She loved to walk where ever she went and always wished she "could walk around the world."

In her memory, the family will be sponsoring a tree along Main Street, the street she loved to walk.

Janice was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church and volunteered with church cleaning and vacation Bible school.

As a child, Janice was a patient of Shriner's Hospital and has always had a soft spot in her heart for disabled children. Memorial donations received will be presented to Shriner's Hospital for Children, Chicago, in Janice's name.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Jeffrey Stirniman as celebrant. Interment will bein Oakland Cemetery in Princeton, followed by a balloon release in celebration of her life. Afterward the family invites everyone to join them for a luncheon at St. Louis Catholic Church.
