WOODSTOCK – Woodstock police are looking for a man who reportedly burglarized Botts Welding and Truck Services twice in the past week.
About 9 p.m. Tuesday, Woodstock police said the owner of the business, which is at 335 N. Eastwood Drive, called to report an in-progress burglary.
A man was seen through a window of the business when police arrived, but police said the subject escaped from the building before the perimeter was fully established.
Footage of the subject was caught on a security camera, which the business owner bought after a similar incident happened over the weekend.
Police said the owner informed them Tuesday that a laptop computer was stolen from the business, but the incident had not been reported.
Woodstock police Deputy Chief John Lieb said he did not know what day the first burglary happened. A desktop computer and security camera were stolen Tuesday, police said.
Police said the suspect is a white male with blonde hair, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with an average build, and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
