ST. CHARLES – Those seeking a moving truck have a new place to rent one in St. Charles.
The U-Haul Company of Illinois Inc. announced this week that One Stop Liquors, 1401 Prairie St., St. Charles, will offer U-Haul trucks, towing equipment, support rental items and in-store pickup for boxes, according to a news release.
“One Stop Liquors owner Aniruddhakumar Nayakone is proud to team with the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage to better meet the demands of Kane County,” the release states.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, according to the release.
Reservations may be made by calling 630-313-2019 or visiting www.uhaul.com.
According to the release, U-Haul and One Stop Liquors strive to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives.
Truck sharing allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks larger than what they could access on an individual basis, the release states.
“Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road,” the release states. “Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.”
