What activities
are you involved in?

I play volleyball and soccer, and I’m in cheerleading. I’m also vice president of the junior class, and I was in Leo Club.

Is it hard to juggle it all?

It is hard, but I’m loving all of it, so that makes it easier.

What do you love the most?

Cheerleading. I did it for the
first time during basketball
season, and I looked forward to it every day. It was a really fun experience.

How did you get
involved with it?

My best friend, Alexis Plumb, has done it for a while, and I thought it would be something different and interesting to try. It turned out to be a lot of fun.

How did you
get into soccer?

My freshman year was the first time I’d ever played, and I’ve just stuck with it. I love it.

What about the game
made you love it?

I love the coaches and the girls, just the social aspect of it, mostly. Everybody has such a great attitude, we’re so supportive of each other, and it’s fun to hang around with my teammates at team dinners and things like that.

Is volleyball a new thing
for you, too?

No, I’ve been playing that for a long time. I think this past fall was my last season, though; I want to cheer for football and basketball next year. Volleyball has been a lot of fun, but I want to move on and do something else.

When you do have
that rare free time,
what do you like to do?

Nothing too crazy, just a lot of girl stuff, basically. I’ll paint my nails, hang out with my friends. I actually spend a lot of time on Pinterest [a social sharing website].

What about books,
TV or movies?

I love anything Nicholas Sparks, books or movies. I think all his stuff is just so cute.

Future plans?

I love med-bio class, but I can’t really handle all the blood. So I’m thinking about maybe chiropractic work; that looks really interesting.

Would a reality show on your life be popular?

I hope so … I mean, I find myself entertaining. (Laughs) I talk a lot, and I’m involved in a lot of different things, so I think people would find it interesting. It wouldn’t be anything too dramatic, but there would be a lot of fun stuff going on.

Favorite classes?

Med-bio, because Mr. Cahill is a really great teacher. I also like Spanish 2, because Mrs. Fitzanko is so upbeat and fun to learn from.

College plans?

Wisconsin-Madison seems like a fun place, a really good school to go and learn and experience new things.
