n College: Played at the University of Illinois with his twin, Paul.

Ken Spooner, Class of 1953

n Today: Lives in Huntley with his wife, Katy.

n College: Spooner went to Northwestern on a basketball scholarship with Schulz, but left after a year and transferred to Northern Illinois University, then called Northern Illinois State Teachers’ College.
