Thomas Murray, of Dixon, is an attorney in private practice who specializes in criminal, personal injury and real estate law. He and his wife, Katie Murray, have four children: Alexis, 11, twins, Sarah and Michael, 6, and Matthew, 3. They also have a dog and a cat.

Heroes: Barack Obama, who has tried to lead our nation during a very difficult time, and my father, Matthew Murray, who was a good provider.
First job: I was a caddy at Indian Hill Country Club in Chicago. I liked it a lot.
First car: 1970 Plymouth Belvedere. I was 20.
