Lucas, Jackson to marry in September

Lindsey Brooke Lucas of Greer, S.C., and Matthew Carter Jackson of Taylors, S.C., are happy to announce their engagement. The couple will unite in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 in Greenville, S.C. A reception will be held at the Morris Country Club on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Smith (Diane) Lucas, Jr. of Morris. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas (Sherry) Jackson of Sumpter, S.C. Lindsey acquired her bachelor’s degree in biology. She is employed as an environmental protection manager at Engineering Consulting Services in Greenville. Matthew acquired his bachelor’s degree in business marketing and management. He is employed by Christina Brothers Inc. in Alpharetta, Ga.
