STERLING – Jordan Sanders, 18, of Sterling, died Monday, April 12, 2010.

He was born May 12, 1991, in Dixon, the son of Matthew and Lisa (Keller) Sanders, and had attended Sterling Schools.

Surviving are his mother, Lisa Sanders (Daniel Lathrop) of Dixon; his father, Matthew Sanders of Dixon; his sister, Stormeé Sanders; his brother, Seth Sanders; his paternal grandparents, Wanda (Harold) Hemminger of Chadwick; his maternal grandparents, Douglas (Jeralyn) Keller of Center, Mo.; his maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie McBeth; his maternal great-great-grandmother, Sylvia Keller; and his aunts and uncles, Michael (Casey) Keller, Penny (Kendal) Helms, Walt (Annette) Swift, Dana Sanders, Brandy (Bruce) Darby, and Rebecca Eagan (Dave Bolinger).

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles H. Sanders; his great-aunt, Kate Clapper; his niece, Angel Joyce; and his cousin, Travis Phillips.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, Rock Falls, with the Rev.Dalmus Meeks officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
