Rebecca Geffers of Grand Mound, Iowa, and Greg Armstrong, of Ottawa, united in marriage on Friday, June 19, 2009, at St. John Vianney in Bettendorf, Iowa.

The bride is the daughter of Kenny and Diane Geffers of Grand Mound.

The groom is the son of Rick and Donna Armstrong of Ottawa.

Jill Schwenker, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Madison Frick, sister-in-law of the bride; Beth Marsoun, friend of the bride; Elizabeth Goodsitt, friend of the bride; Jenny Keeney, cousin of the groom; and Jacey Keeney, cousin of the groom.

Jeff Armstrong, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Keith Homfeldt, friend of the groom; Jesse Novotney, friend of the groom; Thad Jackson, friend of the groom; Nick Bull, friend of the groom; and Ryan Geffers, brother of the bride.

David Armstrong, uncle of the groom; Mike Cardosi, friend of the groom; Matt Davis, friend of the groom; Matt Keeney, cousin of the groom; and Allen Matuszewski, cousin of the groom, were the ushers.

A reception was held at The River Center in Davenport, Iowa.

The couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica.

Rebecca is a 2001 graduate of DeWitt Central High School in DeWitt, Iowa. She graduated in 2005 from the University of Northern Iowa.

She is employed as an account manager for Healthways in Davenport, Iowa.

Greg was a 2001 graduate of Ottawa Marquette High School in Ottawa. He is a 2005 graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill.

He is employed as a photographer for KWQC TV-6 News in Davenport.

The couple now resides in Davenport.
