After going 0-15 last year, Plainfield's co-op girls lacrosse team is now 0-3 on the year. Still, they're finding the positive in every situation.

Providence Catholic continued one long track and field tradition in the pole vault and had a huge performance in the shot put on Friday at the IHSA 2A State Track & Field finals. Sophomore Natalie Papes placed seventh in the pole vault with a jump of 10 feet, 10¾ inches. The Celtics have a long tradition of medaling at the state meet in this event, with Sam Spencer winning in 2019.
