Harvard

Derek D. Schroeder, 36, of the 500 block of Westlawn Avenue, Elkhorn, Wisconsin, was arrested Thursday, July 1, on a Kenosha Police Department warrant for failing to appear in court on disorderly conduct and possession of a controlled substance charges and a Walworth County warrant for failing to appear in court on a burglary to building or residence charge. Schroeder was also charged with obstructing justice.

Sandy Cruz, 19, of the 500 block of South 5th Street, DeKalb, and Jennifer Castaneda-Nova, 19, of the 11400 Route 14, Harvard, were each cited for consumption of alcohol by a someone under 21 years old. Cruz and Alexia M Marquez, 19, of 700 West Diggins Street, Harvard, were later each cited for fighting.

Gabriella Ortiz, 21, of the 100 block of 100 Raffel Road, Woodstock, was charged Wednesday, July 6, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Juan J. Castro, 25, of the 1700 block of Wildfolower Lane, Harvard, was charged Thursday, July 7, with domestic battery. He was also arrested on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation.

Hector Garcia-Garcia, 20, of the 300 block of Marengo Road, Harvard, was charged Saturday, July 9, with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Alberto Oritz, 24, of the 1300 block of Queen Anne Road, Woodstock, was charged Sunday, July 10, with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use.

A Harvard 14-year-old was charged Tuesday, July 13, with criminal damage to a vehicle.

Huntley

Christopher Sanborn, 36, of the 11100 block of Algonquin Road, Huntley, was charged Thursday, July 1, with domestic battery.

Desiree L. Cassiano, 48, of the 600 block of Sara Lane, Marengo, was charged Friday, July 2, with two counts of driving under the influence.

Brooke O. Hargraves, 45, of the 500 block of Sawgrass Lane, Hampshire, was charged Sunday, July 4, with retail theft.

Lynette Franklin, 35, of the 13900 block of South Wasbash Avenue, Riverdale, was arrested Sunday, July 10 on a Kane County warrant for fleeing and eluding.

Jose Vasquez, 45, of the 11700 block of Woodcreek Drive, Huntley, was charged Tuesday, July 12, with two counts of endangering the life or health of a child.

Marengo

Roberto B. Rojas, 35, of the 500 block of Arlington Avenue, Elgin, was charged Sunday, July 11, with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision.

Jacob R. Ledbetter, 19, of the 1000 block of Briden Drive, Marengo, was charged Thursday, July 15, with domestic battery resulting in bodily harm and domestic battery with physical contact.

Jorge Perez, 41, of the 600 block of Sunset Drive, Marengo, was charged Thursday, July 15, with domestic battery resulting in bodily harm and domestic battery with physical contact.
