A woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening after being struck by a car Wednesday in Woodstock, a Woodstock fire official said.
Woodstock Fire/Rescue District crews were dispatched at 3:47 p.m. to Washington and Dane streets where they found the pedestrian lying next to the four-door sedan that struck her, Capt. Brendan Parker said.
She was flown to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville as a precaution, Parker said.
The driver of the vehicle declined treatment, Parker said.
The intersection was closed for about 15 to 20 minutes.
