The La Salle-Peru co-op swimming team has a roster full of experienced swimmers, including multiple swimmers who qualified for state last season.

The IHSA’s announcement Wednesday afternoon schools will be allowed to start basketball seasons as soon as they have a required seven practices completed has been met with both relief and excitement around the Illinois Valley.

The boys swimming season is on pause, but members of the L-P co-op team are trying to keep their spirits up with team Zoom meetings and trying to stay in shape with workouts on their own.
