The East 22nd Road (County Highway 15) grade crossing of the BNSF Railroad at Kernan will be closed beginning Sunday, Nov. 12, for crossing repairs, the La Salle County Highway Department said in a news release sent Thursday.

The closure is expected to last three days. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes around the construction site.
