Gerald Ouellette, of Bradley, will celebrating his 96th birthday with a private family gathering.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1928.

Gerald has six children: Alan Ouellette, the late Julie, Larry, Sheila (Butch) McCormick, Anna (Steve) Dumey, and Mark (Doreen) Ouellette. He also has 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

His wife, Shirley Bushey-Ouellette, passed away May 25, 2020. They enjoyed 71 wonderful years together.

Gerald is a World War II veteran of the United States Navy (Sea B). He retired from the Kankakee Post Office. He is enjoying his 33rd year of retirement.

His children are very proud of all his accomplishments.
