Bishop McNamara 10, Reed-Custer 0 (6 inn.): Joslynn Dole had a big day in the circle and at the plate to lead the Fightin’ Irish (3-2) to a road win. She allowed just two hits over six innings of work while going 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. Vivian Dole and Rhaya DePaolo each went 2 for 4 with an RBI while scoring two and three runs, respectively. Reagan Kaner was 3 for 4 with a run.

Mackenzie Foote was 1 for 1 with a pair of walks for the Comets (4-3) while Kirstin Klein was 1 for 2.

WJOL Tournament

Providence Catholic 19, Coal City 7 (5 inn.): The Coalers (5-5) led 5-1 in the top of the third but fell in their tournament opener. Leah Jensen was 2 for 2 with an RBI and a run, Rileigh Eddy was 1 for 3 with two RBIs and Khloe Picard had a walk, two RBIs and a run.

Minooka 10, Coal City 0 (6 inn.): Leah Jensen and Ava Mills each went 1 for 3 for the Coalers (5-6) as they lost their second tournament game of the day.
