Arrivo 65th Wedding Anniversary

Marty and Katherine Arrivo, of Bradley, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 6 with a family gathering at The Homestead Restaurant.

The event was hosted by their children: Linda Menard Arrivo, of Doylestown, Pa., and John (Donna) Arrivo, of Noblesville, Ind.

The couple has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrivo and the former Katherine Murphy were married Oct. 11, 1947, in Chicago.

Marty is retired from Indiana Fruit Market.

Ogg 50th Wedding Anniversary

Kurt and Darlene Ogg, of Bourbonnais, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, Oct. 13, with a family dinner hosted by their daughters: Teresa (Craig) Culver, of Bourbonnais; and Beth (Tom) Davis, of Muskego, Wis. They have four grandchildren.

Kurt and Darlene were married Oct. 13, 1962, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kankakee.

Kurt is retired from CSL Behring, and Darlene is a homemaker. Both enjoy reading and volunteering.

Francoeur 90th Birthday

Jeanette Ward Francoeur celebrated her 90th birthday Oct. 8. She has four children: Louise (Jerry) Johnson, of Crescent City Calif.; Eddie (Janet) Francoeur, of Bradley; Mary (Ron) Francoeur, of Bradley; and Joey Francoeur, who is deceased. She has seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Jeannette was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Manteno. She enjoys gardening and reading novels.   

Heeger 90th Birthday

Robert Heeger, of Bourbonnais, is celebrating his 90th birthday today, Oct. 13, with family and friends.

He has one son, Greg (Darlene) Heeger, of New Jersey, and three granddaughters. His second son, John, is deceased.

Heeger was born Oct. 14, 1922, in Springfield, Ohio, and married the former Madonna Rivard on May 14, 1949, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Kankakee. He is retired from A.O. Smith Corp. and is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the American Legion and the Vintage Squadron.
