Softball: Logan pops Putnam County 9-1

Piper Hansen and the Princeton Logan Lions topped Putnam County 9-1 in nonconference junior high softball action Thursday in McNabb.

Hansen was the winning pitcher, scattering three hits with no walks and four strikeouts.

Avah Oertel (2 RBIs) and Josie Sierens (RBI) each had two hits and Addison Parry had one hit with two RBIs for Logan, which took a 6-1 lead after two innings.
