Mr. and Mrs. Don (Georgine) Spohn of rural Ohio will celebrate their upcoming 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Don Spohn and the former Georgine Wishnevsky were united in marriage on June 7, 1969, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Spring Valley.

The Spohns have four children: Phillip and David Spohn of Ohio, Nick Spohn of Dixon and Daniel (Maria) Spohn of Western Springs.

They also have three grandchildren: Sierra and Skyler Spohn of Ohio and Samuel Spohn of Western Springs.

Mr. and Mrs. Spohn still farm in the Ohio Area. In their spare time, they enjoy riding their Harley, with their latest trip to Sturgis, SD.
