BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Plano's Martin Diaz was the race winner in 16:54, but Sandwich had seven of the top nine runners to win the dual meet at Plano.

Sandwich's Steve Aguilar was second (17:02), teammate Dayton Beatty fourth (17:56), Wyatt Miller fifth (18:03), Max Cryer sixth (18:11), Johnny Rizzuto seventh (18:14), Luiz Baez eighth (18:36) and Dylan Chaplin ninth (18:42). Plano's Josh Thoms was third in 17:24 and Will Collins was 10th in 18:57.

GIRLS GOLF

Rock Falls 176, Sandwich 190

Grace Donahue shot a nine-hole personal best of 44 to lead the Indians (6-2, 5-0)) at Rock River Golf Course. Alijah Campbell and Morgan Ross carded scores of 45 and 47, respectively, Hanna Reedy had a 54. Sandwich as a team broke 200 for the first time this season and improved as a team by 20 strokes from a previous dual meet with Rock Falls.

BOYS GOLF

Newark 188, Sandwich 200

Dylan Cartwright and Cam Figgins both shot a 45, Braxton Hart a 47 and Carson Baker a 51 to lead Newark to the dual win at Edgebrook. Sam Dawson shot a 48, Michael Barbey a 50, Ian Kelson a 51 and Noah Klossing a 51 for Sandwich (2-8, 1-5).

Plainfield swept all seven matches of the SPC dual.
