Streator

Rebecca R. Rodriguez, 29, Streator, was cited at 8:44 a.m. Friday at East Bronson and North Park streets on a complaint of no valid driver's license. Rodriguez was released with a court date.

Sarah T. Beavers, 50, Streator, was arrested at 10:15 a.m. Friday at Frech and Bloomington streets on a La Salle County failure to appear warrant for two counts of DUI. Beavers was taken to the county jail.

Izabella Vietti, 19, Streator, was cited at 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of East Main Street on a complaint of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Vietti was released with a court date.

Robert Glenn, 19, Streator, was cited at 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of East Main Street on a complaint of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Glenn was released with a court date.

Josiah W. Parcher, 21, Streator, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Washington Street on complaints of DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Parcher was released with a court date.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested at 2:59 p.m. Saturday at East Sumner and North Park streets on a complaint of driving while license suspended. The boy was released with a court date.

Lloyd H. York, 27, Streator, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of North Bloomington Street on complaints of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. York was taken to the county jail.

Walker Cashmer, 23, Streator, was cited at 10:44 a.m. Sunday at East 12th and South Park streets on a complaint of no valid driver's license. Cashmer was released and given a court date.

Streator police responded at 8:03 a.m. Friday to the 1400 block of North Otter Creek Street for a report of electronics being taken from an apartment.

Streator police responded at 9:12 a.m. Saturday to the 600 block of North Sterling Street for a report of change taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Streator police responded at 9:39 a.m. Saturday to the 1000 block of North Everett Street for a report of tools and jewelry taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded at 4:03 p.m. Friday to the 1400 block of East First Street for a report of wires arching. Firefighters stood by until ComEd arrived.

Streator firefighters responded at 6:38 p.m. Friday to 609 N. Everett St. for an alarm set off by cooking smoke.

Streator firefighters responded at 7:46 p.m. Friday to 306 W. Stanton St. for a report of an illegal burn, which was found to be legal.

Streator firefighters responded at 8:05 p.m. Saturday to Hickory and Sterling streets for a report of a car smoking.

Streator firefighters responded at 2:01 a.m. Sunday to 514 Lundy St. for a carbon monoxide alarm but no carbon monoxide was detected.
