There won't be any more Lone Star steaks in Joliet.
The steakhouse has suddenly closed up shop at its Joliet location at 2705 Plainfield Road.
A sign posted on the doors said the location has ceased operation as of July 30 and to notify the company’s law firm with questions.
A representative of the John Henry law firm of Round Rock, Texas, confirmed that the closure is due to Lone Star being in the process of bankruptcy.
Other Lone Star restaurants in the area will remain open, including the one in Crestwood, where the manager confirmed they are still doing business.
