July 20

• 5 p.m. Open Track Meet at McCracken Field, 3712 Kane Ave., McHenry. Sponsored by McHenry Parks & Recreation Department. Check-in begins at 4:45 p.m. Register at McHenry Recreation Center, 3636 Municipal Drive, McHenry. Information: 815-363-2160.

July 21

• 5 to 9:30 p.m. Parade Marshal Concert in the Park at Veterans Memorial Park, 3400 Pearl St.

• 7 to 7:30 p.m. Parade Marshal Ceremony for Pastor Roger Schneider

• 7:30 to 9 p.m. Entertainment by Centerfold

July 22

• 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Inside sidewalk sales, throughout McHenry

• 3 to 8 p.m. Kids' Ice Cream Social at Veterans Memorial Park. Cost: $5 for hand stamp and ice cream from Riverside Chocolate Factory. Includes food service. New this year is Mom’s Lounge, a place for nursing mothers sponsored by Medela, Inc. Along with ongoing stage entertainment, event includes moon walks, games, Fire Safety House, Child Identification Program provided by McHenry Masonic Lodge 158 and more.

July 23

• 8:45 a.m. “On The Fox” Youth Tennis Classic check-in; tournament begins at 9:15 a.m. Sponsored by McHenry Parks and Recreation Department. Information: 815-363-2160

• 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Arts & Crafts in the Park, Veterans Memorial Park. Featuring food service and more than 100 crafters with handmade items. Outside sidewalk sales throughout town.

July 24

• 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parade activities at Veterans Memorial Park. Featuring food service with a parade theme of “Born to Ride” this year.

• Noon pre-parade entertainment on the gazebo, including The Classic Cavaliers, The McHenry Group Therapy and The Royal Airs.

• 1:30 p.m. Parade route goes from Main Street to Green Street to Pearl Street to Riverside Drive to Washington Street ending at Veterans Memorial Park.
