What’s your new book about?
This autobiography/memoir is the story of two lifetimes and still going strong. Inside are three books in one. Find your interaction, their history, secrets and innovations of how they have and will continue to achieve their goals for living the same dynamic lifestyle, on the way to 100 plus. Ten percent of the net profits from book sales will be donated to the Independence Fund Inc., who provide mobility track chairs for veterans.
Where did the idea come from?
In this autobiography/memoir is my historical reminiscences with the rich and famous from 1930 through 2015. Some you may know, some not, depending on your age. Including Sidney Korshak, mouthpiece for the mob, big business and government moguls in Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Also Ivan Albright, the world-famous artist; Sid Luckman, the best football quarterback who ever lived who played for the Bears; Yellow Kid Weil, the most known and successful conman/swindler in history; and legendary singer Vic Damone. The book also details my correspondence with three-term California Gov. Earl Warren, the vice presidential candidate under Thomas E. Dewey in 1948, chief justice of the Supreme Court through June 23, 1969, and chairman of the Warren Commission Report on the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Also Ken Eto, a Chicago mob boss known as Tokyo Joe; Elmer Balaban, one of the seven brothers who owned the 125 Balaban & Katz Movie Theaters, which later became Paramount Pictures; Francis George Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church; and His Excellency Romano Prodi, prime minister of Italy.
