LOMBARD – DuPage Medical Group, the largest independent, multi-specialty physician group in the Chicago area, is now offering laser cataract surgery using a new technology in Lombard, according to a news release.

Ophthalmologists Charles Ahn and Saba Kadlec of DuPage Medical Group offer the surgery with the LENSAR Laser System. The new technology is used to safely remove cataracts and restore vision, the release stated.

The modern technology of the LENSAR Laser system allows eye surgeons to remove cataracts in a more advanced way with a laser and ensures that advanced, customized cataract procedures can be performed with the highest precision, according to the release.

Surgery procedures will be done at The Surgical Center of DuPage Medical Group, 2725 S. Technology Drive in Lombard.
