A motor vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on Interstate 57 in Will County.

About 7:30 a.m. Friday, a pedestrian was struck in the lane of traffic on I-57 near milepost 329 by a passing motor vehicle, Illinois State Police said in a news release.

All southbound lanes of I-57 near milepost 329 have been closed for the investigation, police said.
