Ottawa Police Department to replace equipment in some squad cars

Tahoe squads to be outfitted with new radio equipment

The Ottawa City Council approved spending nearly $9,600 to upgrade radio equipment in police squad vehicles.

The council voted to accept a quote from Cole Radio Communications for $9,595.39 to replace equipment inside the Tahoe squad vehicles of the Ottawa Police Department.

The cost will come from the city’s general fund.
