The three Democratic hopefuls in the March 17 primary election for Kane County Treasurer fielded questions at a recent League of Women Voters forum at the Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin.

Ted Dabrowski: Criminals are prioritized over victims under the Democratic Party’s failed policies. Gov. Pritzker’s SAFE-T Act allows repeat felons to roam the streets freely while awaiting trial. As governor, I would fight to repeal the SAFE-T Act in its entirety.

March 17 marks the 2026 primary, where voters can pull a Democratic or Republican ballot to pick who appears on the ballot come November. All voters, partisan or not, can weigh in on referendum questions.
