Pollyanna Brewing Company holding virtual events, teaming up with different businesses

St. Charles business trying to think outside box as pandemic continues

Along with being open for indoor dining now, Pollyanna Brewing Company in St. Charles continues to host virtual events.

It’s held events with the NIU Alumni Association and back in 2019, the association and Pollyanna teamed up to create the appropriately named Dawgma beer. NIU’s mascot is a Huskie dog. Recently, Pollyanna teamed up with the esteemed Alinea restaurant in Chicago.

Pollyanna is also working with Kimmer’s Ice Cream in St. Charles to create beer and ice cream bundles to enjoy at home. More information is available by going to Pollyanna’s Facebook page, facebook.com/pollyannabrewingstcharles.

As the pandemic continues, Pollyanna Brewing Company has been trying to think outside the box.

“We’re trying to be as innovative as we can while we’re all waiting for things to turn back to normal,” said Ryan Weidner, co-founder and chief financial officer of Pollyanna Brewing Company, and an alum of Northern Illinois University.
