Welcome spring with a naturalist-led hike in Elburn

Leaves are falling at Johnson's Mound Forest Preserve in Elburn.

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County welcomes the public to join one of its naturalists for a spring hike from 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday, March 20, at Johnson’s Mound Forest Preserve, 41W600 Hughes Road in Elburn.

According to a news release, the hike leader will discuss the reasons behind the seasonal change, share stories about spring cultural traditions, and help explore wildlife habitats.
