Sojourn Rocs to present free concert at new Oswego Entertainment Venue

It’s been a while, but summer entertainment fun is back in Oswego. Join the village this Saturday, July 17, for a free concert by Sojourn Rocs.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. performance at the site of the new Oswego Entertainment Venue, 1010 Station Drive near the northwest corner of Orchard and Mill roads.

Those attending are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, food and nonalcoholic beverages, or grab a bite from Rose Street Eats, serving up hot dogs, chips and soft drinks. Plus, quench your thirst at the beer tent, featuring domestic drafts and Oswego Brewing Co.’s Hay’z for Horsez New England-style IPA.

One must be 21 or older with photo ID to consume alcohol. To minimize touch-points, only credit cards will be accepted at the beer garden (no cash).

Sojourn Rocs plays rock ’n’ roll and country music classics from the 1960s to today’s hits, as well as their own original music

There’s more coming to the village this summer.

  • Aug. 12: Movies in the Park: “The Greatest Showman”
  • Aug. 26-29: VetFest, featuring LOCASH, The Man in Black, 7th Heaven and a carnival

More events are being added to the calendar all the time. Visit the new Oswego Entertainment Venue page at oswegoil.org/amphitheater for the latest.
